    Bonner Scholarship Application

    Waynesburg Bonner Scholarships are annual awards of $3,000-$5,000. Bonner Scholars are expected to complete 140 hours of unpaid community service for non-profit organizations and training and enrichment each semester (about 8-10 hours/week).The Bonner Program also requires two summers of 280 hours of community service each summer with a non-profit organization (minimum of seven weeks). 

    To qualify, students should have a cumulative high school GPA of at least a 3.0, graduate in the top two-fifths of their class, demonstrate financial need based on Bonner Foundation guidelines, and provide evidence of a proven commitment to service. Fifteen awards are offered each year to the incoming freshman class. Students receiving the Bonner Scholarship are ineligible for the Stover Scholarship or Founders Scholarship.

    All Bonner Scholarship applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov. 

    Deadlines:
    • Application for the Bonner Scholarship (this form) is due by January 5, 2024
    • FAFSA for the Bonner Scholarship is due by January 20, 2024
